Our Growing Practices

2026 marks our tenth year farming this piece of land, and we are so thrilled. We transitioned out of maintaining Organic certification February of 2026. This change does not affect our farming practices.

We manage fertility with cover crops and organic amendments. Ways we manage pests: row cover, crop rotation, crop timing, encouraging beneficial insects and minimal organic inputs. We accept a percentage of crop loss as part of growing vegetables in a natural system, and we are honored to work with our soil and the environment to produce vegetables with a mind towards sustainability, community, and efficiency. We enjoy the intricacies and benefits of growing on a small plot of land.

We are committed to leaving things better then we find them, and learning from our experiences.
